The company (Media, Inc.) was founded in Houston, Texas, as a floppy disk duplicator.
1995
Pioneered CD-Recordable duplication services in Houston, Texas.
1997
Recognized by the Houston Business Journal as one of 100 Fastest Growing Businesses.
2000
New ownership and management in place to further grow the company and take it to the next level.
Service and process improvements implemented to meet the growing demand of our customers:
  • CD duplicating equipment upgrade to handle the runs up to several thousand CD-Rs in one shift.

2001
"Name of company changed to Immodicus (pronounced IM line "him" MOD like "modern" IC like "ick" and US like er well "us"). Immodicus is Latin for "beyond measure" and we hope to provide service that goes beyond your expectations, the type of service that makes your life easier.
2005
Bill Dudley, President, is elected to the Board of Directors of the American Independent Media Manufactures Association. The AIMMA is an association of independent media manufacturers founded in 1987. Its members comprise a majority of non-theatrical disc duplication and replication capacity in the North American market and the number is growing annually. Bill Dudley is currently serving on the board.
2008
IMMODICUS becomes the first duplicator in the area to be licensed by MPEGLA to legally duplicate video DVDs. It is currently the ONLY duplicator in Houston who's name appears as a licensee. Check for current listings at http://www.mpegla.com/m2/m2-licensees.cfm. If a company is not listed, they're not licensed and they and their customers are subject to patent infringement litigation.
